Bonny and BonnySA grow all their produce naturally.
Collectively they are the largest growers of tomatoes in Europe, with over
two thousand acres of land in production in the Canary Islands and on mainland
Spain. They produce over 18 million cartons of tomatoes; 3 million cartons
of cucumbers and 100,000 cartons of green beans each year - much of it
destined for UK consumers.
On Gran Canaria, Bonny operates a desalination
plant that's capable of converting 6,400 cubic metres of sea water a day.
Ballast Ham Dredging has been awarded the reclamation
works for the Bonny Terminal Integrated Projects facilities contract by
main contractor Hyundai Heavy Industries Co Ltd.
